SurveySavvy is a free to join online survey company. It was established in 1999 by parent company Luth LLC which is based out of San Diego California. Market research leader Luth LLC was founded by Rosanne Luth (who is also the President of the company) in 1977. SurveySavvy is a BBB member in good standing and they currently have 1.5 million members in 190 countries.

Survey Savvy Detailed Overview

To get started with SurveySavvy the only criteria is that you be over the age of 14 and have access to an email account and internet service. You do have to confirm your membership before you start and you may have to go through a telephone confirmation before some surveys. Once you confirm your membership then you will need to fill out your member portrait. The member portrait is basically a profile of yourself, you will be asked your age, gender, marital status, work status, income, and the type of computer you use. This “portrait” will be used to pre-qualify you for surveys. You can expect to get a few surveys each month (though it will vary according to your “portrait” and the needs of marketing companies) with an average payment of $2 - $20 per survey. You will have to go through a qualification survey before you can take the actual survey, but if you don't pass the qualification survey you will be entered into a monthly drawing to thank you for your time. They draw 50 names and each one will receive $10.

After you have taken a survey (and the amount is over $1) you can request a payout. They only payout in US dollars and by check. You can expect to receive your check in about 4 – 6 weeks.

Survey Savvy Reputation

SurveySavvy is considered to be one of the most reputable survey companies online. They pay well for surveys (if you qualify) and they pay within a reasonable amount of time. The only complaint I could find about the company is that you may get very few surveys. Some people may get 2 or 3 a week while others will only get 2 or 3 a year. If you fall into the latter group you may want to tweak your portrait a little bit. The only other issue I came across is that after you join you can expect some spamming emails. Other than that, this is a good company to work for.
